November 2020 – Carbonsink and Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei present the second edition of the Report “The perception of climate risk of companies listed on the FTSE MIB” on 10 November from 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm. The Report, which is based on information made public on climate disclosure, outlines the degree of maturity of issues related to climate change in the main Italian companies.

In the new edition of the Report, the survey methodology was further refined and the basket of companies examined was updated. The main new element concerns the disclosure areas analyzed (Governance, Strategy, Risks and Opportunities, Metrics and Objectives, Advocacy), now aligned with the outline of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures and the Non-Binding Guidelines on Non-Financial Reporting by the European Commission, as well as the practices and initiatives that are guiding the transition towards a low carbon future.

With this Report, Carbonsink and Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei intend to provide a reflection tool for companies involved in defining their climate-changing emissions mitigation strategy and to stimulate debate in public opinion regarding the steps that still need to be taken along the path outlined. from the Paris Agreement.
