We need time to shift from an economy based on fossil fuels - which accounts for 80% of world’s energy - to a net-zero economic model.

Contact us to develop a project

A climate strategy to compensate unavoidable residual emissions must leverage high-quality carbon credits certified by international standards.

Over the past 10 years, we have been developing mitigation projects that have multiple positive impacts: tackling climate change, protecting natural ecosystems, and supporting local communities in developing countries.

As of January 2022, we are a South Pole company. By joining the group, we have access to about 1,000 projects worldwide. And we combine our presence and the more than 30 projects developed in Africa, with their experience on the South American and Asian continents.

Best practices

  • Developing methods to ensure the quality of carbon credits;
  • Managing international registries that issue, transfer or withdraw carbon credits;
  • Liaising with third-party organisation to verify that project developers apply valid developed methods.

To ensure further quality assurance, the non-profit International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance (ICROA) organisation created a Code of Best Practice for companies. This code requires all members to sell only credits that have been verified though internationally recognised standards.
We’re the only Italian company which has been part of the ICROA since 2015 and we get audited by a third-party organisation each year to verify the implementation of the code’s best practices.

Projects in Italy and Europe

As of today, there are no certified carbon credits associated with mitigation projects in Italy, while those in Europe are very limited. Therefore, we’re planning to start forest protection and sustainable agriculture projects to generate certified carbon credits that can fund the ecological transition in Italy and Europe.
